CAN I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE

Ok so in my pursuit of watching the RID series, Id like to point out both this episode, and a particular character. THIS guy right here

First of all: sexy decepticon looking mother fucker i know he needs an appreciation post on his fangs alone. But upon being introduced into the episode, we notice he doesnt speak. Sideswipe makes a sort of comment of this “oh I dont speak brute”. And i was thinking ‘oh ok so dude is just too dumb to talk, or at least talk properly, kinda like TFA Grimlock and his grammar. So im sitting here under the impression we have a decepticon who cant talk properly. Thats when the episode goes on.

OUR BUDDY HERE IS REVEALED TO BE AN AUTOBOT. (Love how its on his crotch btw gonna do fanfiction on this guy later) and then i was thinking ok so hes a hot, mute autobot neat. But then heres the kicker. He starts doing this

Gestures. Hes no longer grunting, just gestures. At this point its revealed by Bumblebee that hes using “Cybertroinian sign language”. Now lets take a look at Bee as hes sitting here trying to process all of this.

THIS is when he makes the realization. “Oh scrud. He cant speak! His voice modulator mustve been destroyed like mine!” Now lets look at Bees face as he recalls this

Hes not doing the gesture just to emphasise what happened. Look at the look in his optics hes actually remembering what it was like, not speaking. Case in point here this character, Blastwave, was SUCH a relatable character for Bee. I love how he looks, how he fights, communicates, how they bring back such an important part about Bee. Guys this series isnt GREAT but it has these wonderful moments. Anyway this has been my TED talk.
