i have so many questions about why she has compound eyes when other cybertronians don’t….
In one of the actually kinda ok bits in the Covenant of Primus, they explain that Airachnid is an Arachnicon, which isn’t really explained but I like to think that it’s a spark mutation that causes protoforms to manifest Insecticon-like features, such as extra limbs and eyes.
Interestingly enough, it’s mentioned that Ratchet’s main doctor buddy and partner in healing was an Arachnicon lady named Cogwheel. She sounds super cool: she’s got eight eyes and dexterous manipulators on the ends of her extra legs. I don’t think it’s mentioned what she turns into though.
Something I wanted to have done this Halloween, but I didn’t had enough free time. I am quite disappointed that this never happened on the series, since I wanted to see Ghoul (or vampire I guess since she was only infected)Airachnid against Arcee for one final showdown.
