Transformers: Prime Season 1 Episode 17

I saved these screenshots a while ago and remembered a few things I wanted to point out:

  • One of the messages in the first screenshot was from Sierra, and it made a reference to Speed Metal (five episodes ago).
  • Jack puts his relationship status as “It’s Complicated”.
  • Miko seems to make most of the postings on Jack’s page. She also uses emojis quite liberally.
  • Silas probably has a social networking account under a fake identity that he uses to gather information on people (like in this part of the episode). He has yet to check out 12 comments and 1 private message.

This battle is lost, my liege. We must retreat if we are to have any hope of winning the war.

 Starscream

A casual reminder that the ultimate goal of the Decepticons is not to torture puppies because it’s fun, or step on flowers because fuck flowers, or to be evil for the sake of evil. Just like the Autobots, they’re fighting a war with beliefs and losses and literally everything at stake.

And they’d very much like to win.

So, it’s been awhile, but I just really noticed it…

In “Loose Cannons”, Dreadwing’s introductory episode, Bulkhead attempts at one point to throw himself over the edge of the carrier and blow himself up. But Wheeljack, Bulkhead’s brother-in-arms, stops him. In “Regeneration”, Dreadwing’s final episode, Dreadwing throws himself into a certainly fatal situation (note the repeated visuals of the characters “walking over an edge”) and the whole point is that he doesn’t have his brother there to stop him. And Dreadwing wasn’t there back in “Master and Students” to stop Skyquake either…

when i used to be all “starscream would backstab HIMSELF if he could” i didn’t realize i was actually fucking calling it for the episode where he clones himself i hate this robot i HATE this fucking shitty-ass scumbag robot where should we have our honeymoon

Some Decepticons in Robots in Disguise (2015) are just so dumb, I doubt that they would have the intelligence required to pick a side between Autobots and Decepticons. It wouldn’t surprise me if the canon, in-universe explanation for them being part of Megatron’s army was that their friends just slapped a Decepticon symbol on them to prevent them from being killed by others when the war started.

“Filch? Yes she only screeches about shiny things but she’s *puts Decepticon magnet on her* totally one of us! All hail Megatron!”

“Springload? You can see that he already wears the insignia! I had to tell him that it will help him reach that thing he keeps talking about, but he’s totally convinced of our cause!“
