“Is that star… screaming?”

In the SU episode Room for Ruby, Steven and Garnet are looking at the sky and suddenly there’s a shooting star which is, well, screaming.

This Ruby is a villain and she spends most of the episode casually convincing the protagonist and his allies that she’s switching sides.

But she only does that to get to the spaceship belonging to her group, and

turns on her new “friends” in the end.

I mean, Starscream is known and loved across different Transformers
media and continuities as a traitorous, backstabbing asshole.

So I just think the words “star” and “screaming” right next to each other like that can’t be a coincidence when introducing this deceptive character into an episode.

She even smiles while tossing someone out of a spaceship, in good old Starscream fashion.

Wait, I still function!” – Lapis Lazuli, probably

As someone who loves both of these things, I’m fucking dead.

Couldn’t resist.

Thank you for the addition, it’s perfect and I love it. ♥
