I just read a Steven Universe post as “I don’t ship Breakdown and Yellow Diamond,” completely forgetting that BD stands for Blue Diamond in that fandom.
Deep down, you know, you weren’t built for fighting But that doesn’t mean you’re not prepared to try What they don’t know is your real advantage When you live for someone you’re prepared to die
In the SU episode Room for Ruby, Steven and Garnet are looking at the sky and suddenly there’s a shooting star which is, well, screaming.
This Ruby is a villain and she spends most of the episode casually convincing the protagonist and his allies that she’s switching sides.
But she only does that to get to the spaceship belonging to her group, and
turns on her new “friends” in the end.
I mean, Starscream is known and loved across different Transformers
media and continuities as a traitorous, backstabbing asshole.
So I just think the words “star” and “screaming” right next to each other like that can’t be a coincidence when introducing this deceptive character into an episode.
She even smiles while tossing someone out of a spaceship, in good old Starscream fashion.
